We had the opportunity through Mr. G's job to go to a Minor League game. We were excited because it was Baby G's first baseball game, it was a beautiful night, and our seats were in the owners suite.
Before we left we had to let the dogs out and Mr. G and Baby G enjoyed walking around the yard while we waited.I think he's bending over to pick a flower....he thinks dandelions are amazing.
Off he goes to...
To search for my flowers.
After we had an amazing dinner we headed to the ballpark and Baby G....
Absolutely loved it.
He was one happy boy.
At one point Baby G was dancing to the music that was playing when he all of a sudden spotted the mascot....which, of course, he thought was a dog. After staring at it for a while he gets really REALLY excited about seeing a dog out on the field. Lucky for me I got it on video.
We also took the opportunity to take a family picture...although we had a little trouble getting Baby G to smile.
For a while he enjoyed watching the game outside with his Nana....but he was starting to get restless...
So we took him inside the suite to let him walk around. What you can't see is there is a 3 year old little girl that Baby G was trying to catch....but she ran away from him straight to her mommy.
So he walked back to HIS mommy.
Then we went back outside to enjoy the game. Nana did a good job keeping Baby G happy through out the game.
I should've remembered to bring toys for him to play with but it turns out a simple bowl was entertainment enough for Baby G.
Silly boy.
He even enjoyed pretending like he was feeding the fans.
I'm sure this was just one of many fun nights that Baby G will spend at the ballpark. Hopefully, though, he will soon take an interest in actually sitting down and watching the game....but I have a feeling that won't happen for a while.
