Sissy G just chilling out on a concrete slab in the lake while her baby doll floats in front of her.
I brought a few toys from home but mostly the kids came up with their own games to play while at the beach.
Oh joy....rubbing wet sand all over mom's leg.
One of their favorite games was to find "sea treasure."
Here is one of their many "sea treasures." A good ole brown rock that they found under the water.
Little cutie.
Filling his bucket up with sand, water, and "sea treasures."
Sissy liked pouring water on the sand....
And stomping in it.
Finding lots of "sea treasures."
Bubby took off trying to catch a seagull.
Um....this particular "sea treasure" is known as a USED CIGARETTE. Mommy wouldn't let them keep that one.
Little G looks up to his big brother and wants to do exactly what he does.
Floating on a buoy.
They had a blast at the lake.
Big girl growing up way too fast.
They were "swimming".....but were actually just crawling on the sand under the water. But they were having fun.
While the older two were swimming, Little G was ready to dump the "sea treasures" and head home.
Time to get the sand washed off and cool off. We lasted about an hour in the heat and the kids had a great time. It was a lot of work going all by myself but the kids were very well-behaved. I have a feeling we will be spending lots of time at the beach this summer.
